Agents coming from a dialer expect a week of setup. On MaXsave the setup is a mic check, and the first live caller usually arrives within minutes of your first time online. Here is the first week in the order it happens, so nothing surprises you.
Day 0: the application and the call
You send the two-minute application: name, phone, email, NPN and where you are licensed. A human reads it. If it looks like a fit we call you, and that call is where everything is put on the table — your states, the call plans, the per-call price of each, and how the wallet works. Nothing is bought on that call; you decide afterwards.
Day 1: states, wallet, plan
Your seat is created and you sign in. Three things happen in order, and the desk walks you through them:
- States. You confirm the states you are licensed in. The router will only ever offer you callers from those states (see Licensed-state routing).
- Wallet. You fund your wallet from the Billing page. Calls are prepaid; the minimum deposit is shown on the plan you are about to join.
- Plan. You join one call plan. Its per-call price and qualifying call length are on the plan itself. One plan at a time; switching is a leave and a join.
Day 1, ten minutes later: going online
Open the desk in Chrome, pass the 30-second mic and speaker check, and flip the switch. That is the whole setup. From then on, while you are online, callers in your states ring your browser. If you step away, go offline; nothing routes to a desk that is not there.
The first call
The ring is three tones, then the call auto-answers and the caller's file pops: name when we have it, state, the campaign they called from, any history, and the script. You open with their name, not with a preamble. The rater is a click away for a live quote; the texting thread is beside the call if they want something in writing. When you hang up, you log the disposition and, if you wrote it, the application — in the same place you took the call.
What fills itself in
Within a couple of minutes of hanging up the recording, the transcript and a plain-English AI summary are attached to the contact. You did not type any of it. If you booked a callback, it shows up in your work queue at the time you set; if the caller wants a text, it goes from your own line with opt-outs handled. Your production — calls, answers, applications, talk time — updates on your dashboard as you work, and the team feed posts the sale.
Days 2 to 5: finding your rhythm
Most agents learn two things in the first week. First, be online when the ads run; inbound rewards the agent who is at the desk. Second, add states. Every state you add is another slice of the floor's callers, and adding one is a profile edit, not a re-application. Your cost per application and close rate are on your desk month to date, so by Friday you are judging the week on your own numbers.
What you will never do
Dial a list. Install a dialer. Buy a record someone else is also calling. File a refund form for a short call — a call that does not qualify is never charged, and the reasoning is in Short calls and hang-ups.
In one paragraph
Apply, talk to a human, confirm your states, fund the wallet, join one plan, pass the mic check, go online. The first caller finds you in your browser, the paperwork writes itself, and by the end of the week your own cost per application tells you whether it is working.
